Aurore is currently completing her advanced postgraduate vocal studies at Trinity College of Music supported by a scholarship, under the tutelage of Alison Wells. While at Trinity, she earned a place on the Royal Opera House mentoring scheme and was awarded the Paul Simms opera prize. Roles include Mère Marie in TCM’s production of Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélites; Siebel (Faust) for West London Opera; Dido and Sorceress (Dido and Aeneas) in a concert performance with the English Sinfonia; Ptolemy (Julius Caesar) for Runaway Opera, Mercedes (Carmen) for Mean Time Opera and Olga (Eugene Onegin) for Hampstead Garden Opera. Last Summer, she also sang in Idomeneo, Don Pasquale and Orfeo ed Euridice for Opéra de Baugé (France). Her oratorio repertoire includes Handel’s Messiah and Nisi Dominus, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, Mozart’s C minor Mass and Vesperae solennes de confessore, Duruflé’s Requiem and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater.
Forthcoming performances include the role of Rosie (The Barber of Savile Row) for Unexpected Opera, and an engagement to sing in Grange Park Opera’s production of Offenbach’s Blue Beard this Summer. This year, she will also make her solo debut at St James’s Church, Piccadilly, in Bach’s B minor Mass.
