Helen Stanley - Mezzo-Soprano

Helen Stanley is currently in her second year of a Bmus (Hons) course at Trinity College of Music, studying with Teresa Cahill. She has sung with various ensembles including TCM Chamber Choir, The Purcell Singers and Carolus Rex, with whom she recently recorded a CD, As Torrents in Summer. She was a choral scholar at the Old Royal Naval College and is a member of the singer development programme with the Philharmonia Chorus.

Helen has performed in the chorus for many productions including Carmen (Mean Time Opera), Trial by Jury (Edinburgh Festival Theatre) and Fingerprint (ROH2). She has appeared as a soloist at Blackheath Halls, Charlton House, Regent Hall, The Painted Hall at The Old Royal Naval College and the Edinburgh Festival. Future plans include The Rake’s Progress and The Four Note Opera.
