Jake Fraser is currently on the cusp of completing his A Levels at a 6th Form in New Cross, having been born and raised in the area. Although studying Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics, his interests have lain in the theatre for several years now, discovering a passion for backstage and production work early on in his secondary school career; he intends to further this to study a degree in Technical Theatre after taking a well-earned gap year.
Working on school operas for the best part of seven years, he has taken every opportunity to get involved in productions both in and out of school. He has filled nearly every backstage role from lighting designer to set builder in the many shows he has worked on, including musicals, plays, operas and small-scale drama performances.
His interests include photography, computers and what can only be described as an alarmingly wide-ranging music taste. He volunteers himself for many school events and has developed a healthy respect for the musical skill required for shows; he hopes Situation Opera will ensure the development of fine musical and vocal talent in future performers.
